Nice Nugget
I’ve been watching the NBA playoffs this year (Sadly, the Trailblazers just got bumped last night) and the Denver Nuggets emblem caught my eye. It’s not quite the logo they have on the front of their jerseys, but what they have emblazoned across half court. They also have a tiny one above their names on the back of their jerseys.
It’s such a beautiful graphic and it works at such incredibly varying sizes from a half court graphic to a 1″ x 1″ patch on the back of a jersey. Perhaps it looks so impressive because I’ve been staring at the Phoenix Suns ugly-ass uniforms for a couple of weeks now as they slowly but surely eliminated the Blazers, but I’m pretty sure that it’s more than that. That abstracted Rocky mountain and those criss-crossed pick-axes really do it for me.
It seems as though this logo has been around for a few years, but I haven’t watched the Denver Nuggets play basketball in much longer than that, so I’ll cry ignorance.
